MILACE is a family story that unites Saffron, raw material we cultivate with care and dedication in the heart of the Alta Brianza Hills, with our values,
leading first to the creation of an agricultural company recognized in the Italian excellence market, and then to a Made in Italy luxury skincare project.
We harvest it at the first light of dawn, then we pluck and dry it.
Next, we let it rest in special glass containers for 40 days in a cool, dark, and specially equipped environment,
to bring out all its aromas. Without additives, without preservatives, completely natural, following the Organic guidelines.
Each saffron flower is a revelation of nature, and we take care of every single part of it with the utmost respect, patience, and love.
It is magic that renews itself every year. More than 400,000 individual flowers have been handpicked since 2019, with over 300 hours of slow and controlled temperature drying.
Cultivating Saffron is an act of pure love, as enveloping as the passion that united the beautiful nymph Smilax and the young Crocus, strong and bold.
He, a mere mortal, was transformed into the Saffron flower for daring to love a deity. Today, the immortal love of Smilax and the determination of brothers Andrea and Simone Milani
